When to bring in a person

Self-navigation has a ceiling. Escalate when any one of these is true.

Duration
Same problem, same intensity, two-plus weeks, despite honest attempts.
Drift
It has spread into domains it started nowhere near — sleep, health, home, money, other relationships.
Distortion
You can't tell if your read is accurate. You argue both sides with yourself and neither wins.
Danger
Safety, harassment, coercion, a substance emergency, thoughts of not being here.
Dependence
The only thing holding you stable is a person, substance or ritual you can't step away from.
