Community Guidelines
How we keep community feeds, event chats and podcast threads useful and safe.
- Version
- 2026-09-01.1
- In effect from
- 1 September 2026
- When you accept it
- Accepted before your first community post
People come here in the middle of something hard. These rules exist so that staying honest never becomes unsafe.
What makes a good post
- Say what actually happened. Specifics help other people more than advice does.
- Own your experience. "This worked for me" travels better than "you should".
- Assume the person is doing their best with information you do not have.
Not allowed
- Harassment, hate or contempt directed at a person or group — including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, neurotype, gender, sexual orientation, age or immigration status.
- Identifying other people. Do not post someone's full name, workplace, campus, address, photo or anything else that identifies them without consent — including your own child, manager or ex-partner.
- Medical, legal or clinical instruction. Do not tell anyone to start, stop or change a medication or a treatment. Share your experience, not a protocol.
- Detailed method. Do not describe methods of self-harm, suicide, disordered eating or substance use. Talking about the experience is welcome; instructions are not.
- Selling, recruiting or promoting. No products, no services, no coaching touting, no research recruitment without our written approval.
- Screenshots from private spaces. What is said in a Care Circle, an event or a coaching session stays there.
If you are in crisis
Post if it helps — but please also reach a human who can act. Emergency numbers and crisis lines are at /crisis, and the Get help now button is on every screen. The community is peer support, not a crisis service, and no one here is on call.
If someone else is in crisis
Say something kind, and use Report → Safety concern. Our moderation team reviews safety reports first, ahead of everything else. Do not attempt to locate, contact off-platform or intervene physically on someone's behalf.
Moderation
Reports are reviewed by trained moderators. Depending on severity we may remove content, limit posting, or suspend an account. You will be told what happened and why, and you can appeal once to trust@icare-now.com. Safety reports may be escalated to emergency services where there is imminent risk to life.
Coaches and contributors
Coaches posting here are identified as such. They are still bound by these guidelines, and a public reply is never a clinical opinion about you.
